We thought that you may like to know that it’s the first National Women’s Angel Day on 9 June, which aims to raise awareness of the staggeringly low number of female business angels in the UK.
Angels Lounge is holding a day of events around the country on 9 June and female investors are welcome to attend any of the events listed – please click here for further information.
Our main event takes place at: One Alfred Place, London WC1E 7EB, Wednesday 9th June 5.30-9pm.
The evening will include insightful talks by key note speakers Maria Dramalioti-Taylor, who for the past 8 years has been a seed investor in Telecoms, Media and Technology and Elinor Olisa & Isobel Beauchamp – the founding partners of Degree Art, a company providing promising, emerging artists.
The main topics will be:
- How do I value a company
- What can I expect from investing in a company?
- How do syndicates work?
- Female business angels and women interested in finding more about angel investing are welcome to attend for a relaxed and informative evening.
